I promised I would update you when Baby Tanner arrived and I am sorry it has taken so long! It has been a crazy week and a half at the Tanner house since this little girl decided to come a week early!
Norah Hayes Tanner was born in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 29. I was under the weather during spring break, so Norah and I have still both been fighting off a sinus infection and cold together since she was born.
I promised I would share pictures since I can't bring her up to meet you guys, so here is Norah:
Norah Hayes on Saturday afternoon, just a few hours after she was born.
Aiden has been a proud big brother! He loves his new little sister, although he keeps calling her Margo. (Too much Despicable Me in our house!)
A smile from Norah!
Before I left, I let you take your best guess as to when Baby Tanner might arrive. Curious who was closest? You might be surprised!
I asked you what day she would arrive...NO ONE on the team guessed March 29! So the closest guesses were one day off - JEREMIAH guessed the day before and SUMNER and ADAH guessed the day after!
I asked you to guess when she would arrive...one person was right on the mark! Norah was born at 1:10 a.m. and JEREMIAH guessed that exact time! Way to go!
I asked you to guess how much she would weigh...Norah was 7 pounds and 10 ounces, so the closest guess was SHELBY with a guess of 7 pounds and 13 ounces. SUMNER, JOY, and SAM were close as well, only 4 ounces off, with a guess of 7 pounds and 6 ounces.
I also asked you to guess how long she would be...Norah was 21 inches long. The closest guesses were all 2 inches away - LAINEY guessed 23 inches and LAILA and MRS. HUDSON guessed 19 inches.
Thanks for doing these cards guys! They were a lot of fun to look through in the hospital and laugh at some of your guesses!
Miss you guys and I hope to see you soon! I am checking INow and keeping up with your grades as well, so please keep up the hard work! You only have a few weeks left of school, so don't give up!
Mrs. Tanner
